The name AVRA is derived from Ancient Greek mythology meaning ocean breeze/ aura. At AVRA we design our jewelry with an obsessive attention to detail. We strive to bring to life some of the sights, sounds and feelings of the Mediterranean while paying homage to the artifacts of Ancient Greece. Bringing back ancient design with a modern embrace.
Yes all Avra Artifacts pieces are waterproof. Our jewelry is made from premium quality 316L stainless steel with PVD vacuum coated 14k gold plating so our products will not rust, tarnish or turn your skin green.
Avra Artifacts are made from premium quality 316L stainless steel with PVD vacuum coated, 3 microns of 14k gold plating. Physical Vapor Deposition, or PVD, is a Vacuum coating process that produces a highly durable, polished finish.PVD coating does not tarnish and is more resistant to corrosion from sweat and water, having a substantially longer lifetime than regular gold plating. We recommend storing your AVRA Artifacts pieces in the micro fibre jewelry pouch they ship in. Store each piece individually to avoid scratching. The jewelry pouches are also great to use while traveling to protect your jewelry.For best cleaning, we recommend using a flannel cotton cloth or any micro fibre cloth to polish the jewelry to avoid scratching.
Just like any artifact, Avra Jewelry should be preserved and cared for. We've provided a microfibre pouch for you to store your jewelry in order to prevent scratching. We give you durable, quality jewelry that you can wear proudly while exploring the world.
For Canadian customers, sales taxes will be charged at the applicable federal and provincial rates of the province to which the order is being shipped. Duties will not be charged. USA & International: For orders outside of Canada, duties and taxes may be applicable to your purchase. Please note that we do not collect these charges and have no control over them nor can we predict how much they may be. You are responsible for paying these charges should they occur. For more details you can contact your local customs authority. FOREIGN TRANSACTION FEES AVRA does not charge any additional fees other than the total amount owed for the order. Other fees would have been applied by your bank and are not under the control of AVRA. As we're based out of Canada, banks in other countries may consider us a "foreign company" and charge additional international fees on their own. We are not able to provide a refund for any foreign transaction fees.
